How Do You Become a Councillor?
Local councillors are elected to represent a geographical area, in our case, the Parish of Waddington. They must reside in the parish, be over 18 years of age and are elected by people who live in the area through a single local council election. To find out when your local council has elections contact the Clerk or local electoral office at Ribble Valley Borough Council.
